We are adding to our current teams in both of Fishponds and Kingswood, in the coming weeks. We offer fully paid Montessori training and the opportunity to work with passionate teachers who put the child at the centre of all that they do. In fact, our team is a long standing one with many staff members who have been with us from the very start six years ago and others with 5 years’ service.

SENDCo Vacancy
Kingswood Site
Position Start date: ASAP Position Type: SENDCo Classroom Teacher
Qualification Required: Level 3 SENCo qualification a must. Montessori Early years Diploma is desirable. We are looking for staff with a passion for learning, with a calm and caring personality. Childcare experience of 1 year (preferred)
Job Types: Full or Part time hours considered. Salary: From £25,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications (pro rata for part time)

SENDCo Duties
-
Identifying children with addition needs
-
Completing EHCP applications for children who need them
-
Liaise with outside agencies such as inclusion teams
-
Provide support for families
-
Funding applications
-
Educating and supporting the team

Main duties classroom:

Preparing the Montessori environment for the children
-
Creating individual planning for key children
-
Join in Nursery topic planning.
-
Record observations of key children providing feedback to our parents.

Present Montessori activities to the children
-
Working with the team, to create a calm welcoming environment for the children.

A full understanding of the EYFS and Safeguarding procedures
-
An understanding of inclusive practice, and making sure our provision in accessible to all children.

Complete Montessori CPD training.
